That is incredible. Tropical storm tornado spinoffs are typical F0-and at most F1 on the Fuji Scale. Hard to tell from camera angle, but that one has an EF3-ish look to it. Are we sure its real? Because I have never seen a tornado that large off a landfalling hurricane.And secondly, the storm still is far enough offshore, that we shouldn't be seeing these frictional spinoffs quite yet....

It is called a Summer Evening Thunderstorm around here... I call it a "continuous lightning storm".... When I was younger I would sit on top of my house and watch them from a distance.
