Zelenskiy isn't asking for American troops.  He's pretty much figured out that the current US regime can't be counted on for anything.  Several European countries have already hinted at supplying troops including tiny Estonia.  That country has more balls than Biden could ever dream of having.  Same goes for Denmark, the Netherlands, Finland, and Poland.

On December 9, an SUV exploded in the center of temporarily occupied Donetsk. It became known that the ex-head of the Olenivska colony of the DPR Serhii Yevsyukov was blown up.  .  .

Yevsyukov was also suspected due to the death of Ukrainian soldiers during a terrorist attack in Olenivska colony. At least 50 Ukrainian servicemen who were in the cells died then. At the same time, 9 of them — due to failure to provide them with emergency medical care. Almost 150 were injured.

After the explosion of a car in Donetsk, the head of the Yelenovskaya colony of the DPR, Sergei Yevsyukov, was killed. His wife was also injured - her leg was torn off, she is in the hospital in serious condition. Previously, under the bottom of the man's Toyota Land Cruiser, a plastid was laid - about 100 grams in TNT equivalent.

Earlier, a criminal case was opened against Yevsyukov and his deputy in Ukraine - they were accused of involvement in the death of prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Azovstal. Who died in July 2022. Then several American Himars flew into the colony in Olenivka.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, two years ago, 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed, another 73 were injured. Fragments of a shell from the American Himars MLRS were found at the scene.

This is why the Russian Army is getting destroyed on the battlefield.  Meanwhile, our Defense Department just enriched Lockheed and other large defense contractors with another $1 billion while Ukrainian armed forces rely on private online fundraising efforts to buy more of these drones.

Leo Krivski is preparing to row across the Atlantic to raise money for medical supplies in Ukraine

"I think it's good to test yourself to see who you really are" - the words of a doctor about to take on a solo row across the Atlantic.

Moscow-born Leo Krivski has been raising money to support medics in Ukraine through a charity he founded a year ago, called Ukrops.

Now, in a bid to raise more money and awareness of aid requirements in the country, he is preparing to set sail.

Mr Krivski, who works as a consultant anaesthetist at the University Hospital Southampton, says the challenge could take anywhere between two to three months.


Mr Krivski started driving medical equipment over to Ukraine after Russia invaded in 2022

Talking to BBC Radio Solent ahead of his departure on Thursday 12 December, Mr Krivski said he wasn't feeling intimidated by the challenge as he's been too busy preparing.

He explained: "It's unpredictable, I'm stocking up for 100 days. I haven't had time to actually sit down and let it sink in, I just think about it in practical terms."

Mr Krivski is determined to take on the row to raise more money for fellow medics in Ukraine.

Having grown up in Russia, he says he witnessed how Ukrainians were treated from a young age, but as his mother was from the country he visited regularly - later working with Ukrainian medics in Crimea in 2014.  .  .  .

Russian casualties reach record highs in Ukraine

The ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to exact a devastating toll on Russian forces, with November 2024 marking a grim milestone in casualty figures.

The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), citing Ukrainian General Staff reporting, stated:

“The average daily Russian casualties (killed and wounded) in the Russia-Ukraine conflict reached a new monthly war high during November 2024. The average daily loss rate was 1,523, according to Ukrainian General Staff reporting. This is the third straight month that Russian Forces have sustained new war high average daily losses. 28 November also saw a new war high of 2,030 losses in a single day, the first time more than 2,000 have been reported.

November 2024 was also likely the most costly month of the war for Russia with a total of 45,680 casualties reported by the Ukraine General Staff. 41,980 Russian casualties were recorded in October 2024. November was the fifth straight month that Russian Forces have suffered an increase in monthly total losses.

The high rate of casualties is likely reflective of the higher tempo of Russian operations and offensives. Russia is attempting to increase the pressure on Ukrainian lines as they seek to push Ukrainian Forces back on several fronts.”

This significant escalation in Russian losses coincides with an increased tempo of Ukrainian defensive actions. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, November was also marked by substantial losses in Russian military hardware.

Ukrainian defenders reportedly destroyed over 300 tanks, almost 900 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), and 900 artillery systems.

Additionally, they neutralised several rare and expensive Russian weapons systems, including the S-400 Triumph air defence system, the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system, the Zoopark-1 counter-battery radar, and the TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system.  .  .

Russia is not far away from a total collapse economically.  They are promising high payouts to people if they join in the fight in Ukraine, and then are not paying or slow paying.  Putin is in the process of making the rubble valueless.  Everything will collapse and with it, so will Putin.  He will go as did Gorbachov did in the early 90s.

Russia is almost completely devoid of trained mechanized folks for their tanks and armored troop carriers.  This lack of proper training makes anyone operating a Russian tank an easy target. 

I say Russia is one year away from this collapse.  Russia has proved to be a paper tiger. 

The feedback I get from my sister in law in Russia is that the cemeteries are filling up with the dead from the Ukrainian battlefield.  So, despite the Russian people being told that all is well with the war and that Russia is victorious, the numbers in the cemeteries cannot be denied.
