Shortly after 12:30 p.m. EDT Monday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA14) opened a hearing titled, “Unusually Cruel: Investigation Into Treatment of J6 Political Prisoners” featuring six witnesses, including targets of the FBI or spouses in the aftermath of the incursion into the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
“MTG,” as she is often called, was flanked by several other congressmen, including Chip Roy (R-TX21).
The “Stop the Steal” rally was organized for January 6, 2021, the day Congress was to certify the results of the November 3, 2020 presidential election which millions of Americans believed, and may still believe, denied then-President Donald J. Trump a second consecutive term through widespread voter fraud.
The first witness, Mr. Evans, told a chilling tale of an FBI raid on his home with his 13-year-old son held at gunpoint on the porch and expressed solidarity with the approximately 1,500 others who were arrested and/or incarcerated through what he said is a defiled “justice” system prejudiced against “conservatives.”
“No police officers died that day,” Evans said, but averred that in the aftermath of early-morning raids, “four children” in utero lost their lives.
“Four children,” he emphasized.
He also named the four Americans who died that day, including Rosanne Boyland, whose death was first reported by Cara Castronuova, a citizen journalist for The Gateway Pundit seated beside him.
The second witness, Jessica Rivera, testified that she and her husband, a Marine veteran active in his community, were raided by the FBI and later, “harmed” by the Democrat-led January 6 Committee who she said made false statements about what occurred that day.
