Democrat Party...the Party of Infanticide

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
It's becoming increasingly hard to disagree with that fact.
The Republic is lost.

The Republican Party has always been the party of the common man.  And the Democrat Party has always been the party of the leech.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Both parties have had a wing that tries to be the party of the common man and an elitist wing for as long as I've been alive.  When the GOP appeal to the common man (Eisenhower, Nixon (second time out), Reagan, Bush the Younger -- yes, he was an elitist, but he had a common-man schtick) they tend to win.  When they appeal to the (business) elite (Dole, Romney) they tend to lose. The main change that has happened lately has been that the Democrats' elitist wing has been ascendant since the beginning of the century.

This isn't wrong when one considers to whom the "elite" are kow-towing.

The fact that not just politicos and the agencies they run but also whole industries and corporations in them blatantly push "liberal" garbage as intuitively obvious Gospel show which side is the ruling class.
Common sense is an uncommon virtue.

yeah, sort of - look how the democrats are always winning with the voters with at least a bachelor's degree, they have always won the least educated of the voters, now it's the most as well. And all those mega billionaires, oligarchs, they are heavily left.

GOP is still winning the upper middle class and they're peeling off minorities, particulary young black men.
