(R-S.C.) Sen. Lindsay Graham vowed to kill Hamas leader Yahader Yahya Sinwar, an architect of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel, if former President Trump is elected to a second term in office.

Graham criticized the Biden administration’s approach to dealing with Iran and its proxy groups in the Middle East, suggesting in an interview on Fox News’s “Hannity” that a hypothetical second Trump administration would play a more forceful hand in the region.


“When Donald Trump gets in office, these hostages will come home because he will tell the Ayatollah, ‘I’m holding you accountable for the safety and the wellbeing of these people, and if they don’t come home, you’re going to pay a price,’” Graham said in the interview, without evidence.

- The Israel Defense Forces and Israeli Security Agency said Thursday they are "checking the possibility" that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was among three people killed in the Gaza Strip.

"At this stage, the identity of the terrorists cannot be confirmed," the IDF wrote in a post to X. "In the building where the terrorists were eliminated, there were no signs of the presence of hostages in the area. The forces that are operating in the area are continuing to operate with the required caution."

The 62-year-old has served as Hamas' leader in Gaza since 2017 and assumed leadership of the group's Political Bureau after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Iran in July. ...
