I’m Getting Worried About Kamala
Jonathan Garthwaite

I’m getting worried about Kamala. Are you?

The fact that you’re reading this probably means that you and I share the same strong feelings about America. A profound love for our country – and a lot of concern that we’re headed in a dramatically bad direction for the next generation.

I’ll be honest, I worry about America a lot these days. I’m not a pessimist – I believe our best days are ahead – but I’ve never worn rose-colored glasses either. America is fighting for her life. I have kids, and I worry what kind of country I’ll leave behind.

Watching the leftist-Marxist-pro-Hamas-trans-promoting-race-bating liberal convention each night this week proves how hard we need to work to expose the leftist plan for government and the big-profit mainstream media’s propaganda.

During big news events like the DNC, I always have CNN or MSNBC on in the background. It might not be good for my sanity, but I want to keep track of what lies, distortions, and nonsense the liberals spew.

What ends up happening is that I get several hours of lies that the liberal networks let pass without a single correction. No wonder so many Americans are left ignorant.

I still think she has the winning hand (55-45), given......

* Her only unscripted non-teleprompter event will be the debate with Trump
* One given debate will be highly biased and skewed against Trump.  Harris will have advanced copy of questions to prepare.  Replay 2020.
* MSM will run 24/7 cover for her and rewrite her positions and resume on the fly.
* Dims know all they have to do, is bait DJT into an insult chamber, and they have the upper hand
* Unprecedented money from the left will pour into the Harris campaign as an "all hands on deck" as the election approaches
* October Surprise, which I am guessing will be wall to wall coverage of DJT being sentenced 10-20 for the NY case.  Watch for a perp walk,  cuffs. and Trump finally losing it in anger.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

While I can see most stalwart conservatives having a problem with Trump, for the average voter the two platforms of the two candidates could not be more stark.

America has a choice of picking someone who's policies will put the country on more solid ground on a number of issues, or forcefully right over the cliff.

Basically if you like to eat and pay your bills vote one  way, or if you want to turn it into a likeability/popularity contest with a younger, fresh face, even if it belongs a vapid, incompetent,  psychotic despot, vote the other.

Let's be blunt, that isn't going to change if it's DeSantis, Sanders, Abbot, or any other Republican hopeful. If we learned nothing else, we learned with both Romney and McCain that every GOP presidential candidate is the second coming of Hitler. If America chooses Harris this time, they aren't going to choose the GOP candidate next time.

So the Rats have offered the worst of what they have. The choice I see coming out of the debates will be very clear. If American chooses that, then it's pretty much all she wrote from here.

I am in sympathy with those who object in rational terms to policy failures of the first Trump term. I honestly believe, unlike some, that 2020 was stolen, because I believed that 2016 was supposed to be. The incredulous shock from ranking Dems that Hillary had lost, even the Newsweek issues that had to be recalled with "Madame President" on the cover (I know they had prepped issues for either outcome), the general appearance of those who saw their favorite horse, one they'd bet on heavily break a leg in the fourth turn, all bespoke a situation where the outcome was supposed to be a given.  Only it didn't fly.

I also think that the entire COVID mess was timed in order to make reelection harder for Trump, with the spin-off that it made the Steal possible. Many different methods were used, but the one which arguably put the Dems over the top was the mail in ballot, drop box stuffing, and the like. Obscuring the process in the 'battleground' states made it further possible to do double counts and produce (and continue producing) ballots until Biden had a majority of votes.  Fool me once, shame on you. No repeated failures for the people to whom the ends justify the means--any means-to power.

Trump has been the subject of a full court nearly decade long hate fest. Most of those who 'hate' him don't even know why. The same could have been done with virtually anyone else.

Trump has to push issues, push viable, rational, solutions, explain them at the 6th grade level, and force Kamala to respond on those issues, or conspicuously leave that vacuum for Trump to use against her. (She has no answers, no real world policy.)

She will be meticulously handled, and by experts, especially because she isn't good enough to get through intellectually.
But, she is their spokesmuddle, and will try to laugh her way through when pressed.

Ask what the joke is. Today's America isn't a situation that I would think many Americans find funny.

Hammer over 3 years of consistent failure to secure borders, reduce crime, high inflation, doubled gas prices, increased costs of other energy, things which hit Americans where they really feel it--in the wallet, and don't stop--and put the blame where it belongs.

That's the choice.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Nope

There are blue states that have Republican governors and DeSantis beat  Crist in Miami-Dade in 2022

The problem with voters have is with Donald Trump. The 2022 midterms was a clear example that. I’m not hopeful that the Republican party will learn anything from their upcoming loss this year as they didn’t learn anything in 2022 and re-nominated him

While demographic issues do make it harder for Republicans, that does not mean that they can’t be competitive and no, if Donald Trump doesn’t get elected, that doesn’t means no Republican will ever win a national election again

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.
