A Colombian gang leader wanted for homicide, arms trafficking, and other charges has been apprehended after being released into the U.S. just months ago.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of the 29-year-old illegal alien last month in Maryland.

The fugitive was first encountered by U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) after he illegally crossed the southern border near near San Ysidro, CA, on September 14, 2023.

He was served with a notice to appear before a federal immigration judge in the future and transferred to the custody of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

On September 16, ICE released the Colombian into the interior of the U.S.
