That sound you hear is the rejoicing of the progressives and their media pals over the new New York Times-Siena poll, as we are less than 24 hours until the week's Sunday shows, which seems to show Democrat nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris leading Republican nominee Donald Trump in three, key battleground states. But there are strong reasons to doubt what's usually a reliable polling outfit.

Let's look at the numbers first. Here's how the NYT celebrated the "dramatic reversal":

I agree with everything you said. I have noticed on conservative sites like Breitbart people are saying "enough with the childish insults, it's getting old" . Even started noticing it on all places FR.  People are wanting once again a Reaganesque President who brings respect and dignity back to the oval office.

If the poll numbers get really bad for Trump I can see him dropping out and blaming it on his health. If he knows he will lose he will never continue with the election. The health issue would be his way out to save face. I saw a you tube video of Harris Nevada rally yesterday and it reminded me of the energy and enthusiasm of a Trump rally.
Maybe I am wrong. Maybe Harris is in her honeymoon phase. We will find out.

If they come out strong and united after the convention, and the Democrat base is still enthusiastic after Labor Day, then its over


Polling will fluctuate. She’ll have stumbles. And even though she is drawing larger and more enthusiastic crowds than Biden, Trump also draws large and enthusiastic crowds. Despite Trump‘s problems, he is still competitive. Harris is further to the left than most Americans. That will be on their minds when they go vote


I think Trump feels cheated. He was on his way to an easy victory when it was Biden and now that that’s being taken away from him, he feels wronged. That’s why this bizarre posting about Biden somehow coming into the convention and getting his nomination back and his claims that this was a violation of the constitution. Both are false

When it comes to the Presidency in this country, I expect whoever is running for President to act like a grown adult. These childish insults are old and tiresome. If Washington was alive, something tells me he would b***h slap Trump to high heaven and tell him to grow the f**k up.


I'm sure Reagan said some stuff privately, but as President, he acted like a grown adult. Something that is missing from these two nitwits.

I don't see Trump dropping out and the GOP doing well with Vance on top (or whatever his name is) of the ticket.

Newsflash @kevindavis007 those two nitwits are who we have to work with.  Pick your poison, abstain or vote 3rd party.  Either way this country is in dire straits. We've just about lost our country. When she goes she's not going to live to make it to see another day as we now know her.  Enjoy the few months that we have remaining.
