Calif. border agents install second border wall to stop fentanyl flow

(NewsNation) — One border town is taking a new approach to try and stop the flow of fentanyl here into the U.S.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents working in the El Centro Sector in Southern California have built a second border wall to reinforce the original wall in an attempt to halt cartel proceedings.

The El Centro Sector is dealing with 25% of the fentanyl seized between ports of entry or by the USBP. El Centro Sector Chief Gregory Bovino is using this innovative technique thanks to the lateral thinking of his agents.

Actually, this is the way that it SHOULD be done.

An "outer wall", a "no man's land" strip, and an "inner wall".

Here's a pic I took of the Berlin Wall in 1971:

The pic was taken from "The West", looking into East Berlin.

It shows why "the wall" was MORE THAN "just a wall", but an effective system to deny passage.

Of course, here the outer wall would need to be more like this:

But again, with a "median", and an "inner wall" as well.

Are we going to be serious about protecting our borders, or not...?
