Climate activists from the group Just Stop Oil attempted to disrupt flights at Heathrow Airport in London and Cologne-Bonn Airport in Germany as part of a coordinated campaign to demand an end to the extraction and burning of fossil fuels by 2030. T

he actions led to the arrest of nine activists at Heathrow and caused temporary flight suspensions in Cologne-Bonn. Similar disruptions were reported in Spain and Switzerland. The protests have sparked mixed reactions, with many calling for severe legal consequences.


Given the recent sentencing of other Just Stop Oil Activists, the Heathrow arrestees may find the UK justice system will be less forgiving than their previous experiences.

It really isn't the government of the UK cares all that much about these protestors, it actually is about the oil barons of the Middle East being unhappy about their cash cow, airlines, being affected.  Since they will likely control the UK withing the next 10 - 15 years, the barons are going to put a stop to this right now.  The "protestors" are lucky.  When Islam controls the UK, the protestors may have their hands cut off instead of going to jail.
