This is exactly why IMHO it was imperative that Trump picked someone of color for his VP.  He's now going to have to contend with this and compete for the Black vote; votes that he could have easily been his; Byron Donalds, Rick Scott, Ben Carson .... that ship has now sailed.

Since becoming a Republican in 2017, I watched as the party said:

•We’d have a huge red wave in 2018. We didn’t.

•We’d win 2020 in a landslide. We didn’t.

•We’d have that big red wave in 2022. We didn’t.

The Democrats aren’t messing around. They just bullied and forced out the same guy they chose and installed to remove Trump.

Anybody still saying that victory is assuredly ours in November is detached from reality, and obviously incapable of learning from the past.

It is hard to see how this decision would not trigger an investigation into the continued capacity of the President to hold his office. The question is now whether President Biden has ended the fight to retain his nomination only to trigger a fight to retain his office.

Since he got inaugurated I've been saying on a lot of message boards that Sniffer Joe would not be the Dem nominee in 2024.
I had my doubts for a while as senile Joe appeared to be digging in his heels. It's obvious from his decrepit mental and physical state that he should not run in 2024, but I guess not so obvious to Biden who is only concerned about himself.
However, I guess the pressure became so great that even Joe finally figured things out.
Now the Dems have the problem with Kamala who is even less qualified than Biden to be president.
The black Dems are holding the party hostage claiming they won't vote for anybody but Harris.
The problem there is that Harris won't draw the middle third of voters i.e. moderates or NeverTrumpers who might vote for some Democrat....just not Biden or Harris.
My prediction: the Dems will blow it and nominate Harris. If I were still a Dem voter, I'd be pretty upset about one faction refusing to vote for anybody but their candidate.
But that's what you get if you choose candidates by identity and not qualifications.
The Dems have made their bed.....now they have to lie in it.

Donald Trump's odds to win the Oval Office are now at -156 following Joe Biden's decision to drop out - meaning oddsmakers view him as being 61 percent likely to surface as the next president come November.

It stood as a a slight dip from a day ago when the president's odds were pegged at 64 percent, suggesting some uncertainty as Democrats mull a new candidate.

In contrast, Biden's odds plummeted to essentially, according to PredictIt - as his Vice President, Kamala Harris, saw her odds rise drastically to +163. That's up from the +900 seen just days ago on July 16, and way up from back in June, before Biden's disastrous debate performance, when her chances were at an even lower +2400.

This means oddsmakers have pegged her as being 12 times more likely at pulling of a win as she was a month ago, when handicappers saw Biden's odds as around 50-50.

That statistic has since halved six times over, as the election rapidly approaches. As it does, other figures have some surprising odds as well, from California's Gavin Newsom to former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Yes, all EverTrumpers who are screeching about a Republican blowout in November forget that as decrepit and Biden is, he only trailed Trump by a few percentage points in many polls and actually led in a few.
But I expect the Dems to blow it and nominate Harris placating the black demographic but turning off many possible moderate and disenchanted anti-Trumpers.
Harris is clearly incompetent. The party might get behind her, but she's going to have a difficult time convincing many non-hardcore voters that she's qualified.
We'll see if the money starts rolling in again who is the favorite. We still don't know if any of the possible Dem nominees other than Harris I've seen mentioned on the tube want to run.

Here’s what happens next:

1) Watch to see if the Obamas and Pelosi/Schumer endorse Kamala. If they do, she is the nominee. If they don’t, there will be some form of open convention.

2) At a minimum, the Democrat VP primary is now underway. That could be over by this time tomorrow, or go to the convention.

3) Whoever their nominee is will then be subject to the greatest PR offensive in American history. You will see this candidate everywhere they control in media and pop culture between now and their only presidential debate. And the coverage will be beyond fawning. This will make Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce look subtle.

4) Ultimately that candidate may not be able to stand up to Trump on the debate stage, but between their ascension and then they are gonna make lots of deposits in their favorables account.

5) The Democrat-Media Complex will gaslight us they tried to hide a senile president for years, and immediately pivot to they are now the party of a new generation. They will soon try to brand Trump and Republicans as the codger candidate and the party of yesteryear. They know the most dominant polling trend this cycle is a majority of Americans wanted a fresh face they originally did not get from the primaries.

6) They can still sentence Trump to prison in September in Manhattan. And if you think there is no chance of that, we just watched them leave Trump unprotected in an open field for an assassin last weekend. But their main goal will be creating a credible enough narrative with a new candidate to justify “fortifying” another election.
