Multiple people were reportedly injured Friday in a mass shooting outside a grocery store in Arkansas.

Eight people, including one police officer, were shot near the Mad Butcher in Fordyce around noon, the Southeast Arkansas Times reported.

The “shootout’ involved two groups and AR-15-style weapons, the outlet added. ...

Yeah, and NO. One shooter was captured on video with a shotgun.  :shrug: Definitely not an AR-15.

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Arkansas State Police have named the suspected shooter in the mass shooting at the Fordyce grocery store, The Mad Butcher.

44-year-old Travis Posey will be charged with three counts of Capital Murder. Additional charges are pending.

He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after exchanging gunfire with law enforcement, released to ASP custody, and transported to the Ouachita County Detention Center. ...

The person died Saturday evening, Arkansas state police said in a statement, listing a total of 14 people as hit by gunfire: “11 civilians, two law enforcement officers and the suspect.”
