Poll after poll indicates young voters are warming to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Are they coming around to his policies—or has Biden driven them away from his own? It could be both.The numbers: According to the latest NY Times polling, young voters [age 18-29] prefer Biden by just two points, 47 percent to 45 percent. The latest Quinnipiac poll has Trump beating Biden with young voters [age 18-34], 48 percent to 4 percent.

I think there's a lot of pushback against the left from young men.

I tolja. I see a slice of these kids...

I am 'THE' pooter guy for hillbillies around here, because they all know I will barter, and that's tough to find in a computer shop... And being pretty hillbilly myself, they are likely to have things I want.

So I see em. Pretty much all of em.

Among em, new kids that come out here fresh, looking for something real.
Really real - That seems to be what drives em.
They grew up in this bullshit from the internet.
They are very skeptical of government and education.
They want to find out for themselves.
And they are looking for the real thing.
And that ain't a Coke.

And some of em make me proud.
Sure only 1 in 10 has the sand to stay. But even if they fail, man... they tried. They tried hard. They faced hunger. They faced poverty. They faced having dang near nothing. And they found out how to work things out.

That's more than most folks do.

I don't think the kids are alright at all; all the wokeness with gender reassignment, identifying as non- binary, needing to use correct pronouns when identifying, boys allowed in girl's locker rooms and bathrooms, LGBTQ, rioting, expecting higher wages for flipping burgers, etc.  No, I don't think that they are ok.  Parents and teachers are promoting this crappola. Talk about a confused generation who expects entitlements; the current generation has definite issues and it's not just promiscuity, wearing blue jeans and smoking pot!

Sorry .... they are NOT ok.

I don't think the lion's share of them believe any of that crap.
I think not believing that crap drives the rebellion in kids.
And that end is inevitable.
Teens rebel. It's what they do.
And what does rebellion look like today?
How do THEY 'stick it to the Man'?

They rebel by being square.

But anyway yes, there are weirdos among the young.  But the non-weirdos are becoming more willing to speak out and defy the leftist orthodoxy.  Riley Gaines is a prominent example, but there are more.
