Biden Claims He Doesn't Have Enough Planes to Deport Illegals

Before leaving for his rather embarrassing appearance in Normandy, President Joe Biden signed his long-awaited executive order "cracking down" on illegal immigration at the southern border. So what has changed since that happened? Even the Associated Press was forced to admit yesterday that the answer is pretty much nothing. They brought us the story of Gerardo Hanao, an illegal migrant from Colombia. He crossed the border into California on Thursday and was taken into custody by the Border Patrol. So far, so good, right? But instead of being shipped back to Colombia, he was dropped off at a bus stop in San Diego. From there, he took a train to the airport and boarded a flight to Newark. Mr. Hanao reportedly doesn't even have a notice to appear in immigration court. It would seem that he is here to stay. Why couldn't he be deported? According to the Biden administration, there were no flights available to send him back to his home country.
 
The Border Patrol arrested Gerardo Henao 14 hours after President Joe Biden suspended asylum processing at the U.S. border with Mexico this week. But instead of being summarily deported, he was dropped off by agents the next day at a San Diego bus stop, where he caught a train to the airport for a flight to Newark, New Jersey.

Henao, who said he left his jewelry business in Medellin, Colombia, because of constant extortion attempts, had one thing working in his favor: a scarcity of deportation flights to that country. Lack of resources, diplomatic limitations and logistical hurdles make it difficult for the Biden administration to impose its sweeping measure on a large scale.

The policy, which took effect Wednesday, has an exception for “operational considerations,” official language acknowledging the government lacks the money and authority to deport everyone subject to the measure, especially people from countries in South America, Asia, Africa and Europe who didn’t start showing up at the border until recently.

Biden is dead from the neck up.  What does anyone expect him to say.  Can't deport them, might as well make them citizens.  Ah, such brilliant leadership, how can we ever manage when he goes?

... but he has enough planes to fly in alleged "assylum" seekers.  The illegals can be put on those planes' return flights to $h!thole countries.  We could also send them back via ship.

Planes?  Are the Rail Cars not working?  My choice would be half-way helicopter rides....

Planes?  Are the Rail Cars not working?  My choice would be half-way helicopter rides....

Trains and buses would do... Cattle trucks, maybe. Reefer trucks, surely...

Biden doesn't effin' want to deport anyone. The more illegals, the better - as far as Grandpa Dementia is concerned.

DHS officials said they are engaged with these countries and are trying to enhance cooperation.

Bottom line in the short term: Mass catch & release continues for illegal immigrants in San Diego sector, who continue pouring in from all around the globe.

Lots of snarky comments in this thread.

But NO ONE here has put forth a believable or workable plan to deport 20-40 million.

The Mexicans? (must be 10-20 million of them here):
That's easy -- finish the border barrier (with a bunch of one-way gates), then ship 'em to the border by bus or railcar, then march them at gunpoint "to the gates" and tell them to go on through, and they're "home free".

But what are you going to do about the South Americans, Africans, etc.?

There aren't enough planes. That's obvious.

What I'd suggest are converting older oil tankers into giant prison transports, one of these could easily be fitted to hold 10-15,000. Pack 'em in, float them home, then transfer them into D-day style landing craft and drop 'em off on the beaches. Have these operations backed up by the military just in case the "country of repatriation" tries to resist. Off you go onto the sand with guns to your backs, boys.

I wouldn't be surprised to see many illegal Asians (particularly Chinese) repatriate themselves once confronted with the reality of forced repatriation.

I can simply by building cage containers and loading them on a container ship, when it gets to the country's port take the containers off and let them out. (They would need to have bathroom facilities and a way to feed them).
I can draw up the plans if anyone is interested.
Remember they are invaders not migrants.
