Houthis Claim to Have 'Destroyed' USS Eisenhower in Missile Strike, Satellite Images and US Navy Quickly Debunk Rumor

Recent satellite images showed the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower safely stationed in the Red Sea, amidst rumors that the Houthis destroyed the American warship in a missile strike.

Knewz.com has learned that the Yemen-backed militant organization has been engaging in a disinformation campaign using "fake footage."
 
Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for the Houthis, announced an attack on the aircraft carrier towards the end of May.

By the first week of June, several social media outlets started sharing fake videos of the USS Eisenhower up in flames, claiming that the destruction was the result of a Houthi missile strike.

The sailors and officers need to repeat what the men aboard USS Enterprise did when Japan claimed to have sunk her, stomp on the flight deck and grin. Then broadcast the video to the ME with Arabic narration.

They could do like we did to "greet" a TU-95 that was going to overfly my ship and do some recon work - get 1,000 people on the flight deck and give him the international sign of brotherhood which is the middle finger prominently displayed.  Then send it to the media. :tongue2:
