Hunter is a convicted felon in the gun charge, but his most serious crimes are money laundering and selling out his country to China, which directly implicate his father Joe- so those charges will never be brought

Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal was smoked out after scrutiny by a federal judge. HOT TAKE: I’m glad Hunter Biden is being held accountable for *something*, but I hope he appeals his conviction for purchasing a firearm while being a drug user to SCOTUS and they rule that type of 2A limitation is unconstitutional

I know countless Veterans who are highly trained with weapons but also smoke a little weed to help with their PTSD

They should not be teated as felons

Hunter Biden being convicted of a firearms charge is the ultimate red herring of red herrings.

The DOJ allowed the statute of limitations expire on his most serious tax charges, buried evidence of the Bidens' foreign bribery allegations, and attempted to give Hunter a sweetheart deal with broad immunity.

David Weiss wouldn't go after him on the serious tax charges or on FARA because all of that would lead back to the shady business dealings involving his father.

Instead, they went after him for a much lesser charge, where the evidence was way too insurmountable to ignore, so they can scream "nobody is above the law" when they put President Trump in jail.

It's really interesting to see pundits asking for sympathy for #HunterBiden for his drug use, but his father, Joe Biden, didn't give a damn about all those black folks in the 90s who were addicted to crack. He wanted those addicts thrown in jail via the 94 crime bill. This is a full-circle moment for Joe Biden.

A jury of Hunter Biden’s peers returned guilty verdicts on all three counts following a speedily conducted federal trial in Delaware for felony gun acquisition and possession charges going back to 2018, a win for special counsel David Weiss.


It seemed last summer that Biden’s tax and gun charges would be resolved by a plea agreement, but when that deal fell apart, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Weiss as special counsel, soon after leading to separate indictments on the West Coast and East Coast.
 
The East Coast case has now its course in the trial court, and with historic results: Hunter Biden has become the first child of a sitting U.S. president, here President Joe Biden, to face a federal criminal trial and conviction while his parent holds the pardon power that comes with the highest office in the land.
