Stay focused everyone. This was inevitable from a machine that understandably views Trump as a threat to the corrupt bureaucratic system. For them it's an existential fight. Of course they would do this. They never know when to stop & have no limits. Trump, & we, will prevail.
I learned everything I need to know about Trump and the bureaucracy in March 2020.

1. Trump does not do bookkeeping. He pays other people to do that. Whatever they did is on them.
2. Even if he did do it, or 'ordered it' it is only a misdemeanor not a felony by far.
3. Even if Trump did this bookkeeping mistake, which is absurd, but even so the Statute of Limitations has expired.
So he paid a bookkeeper to commit his crime, that's money laundering.

Well played, sir.  Well played.

Republicans stood silent for 3 years as Biden’s DOJ/FBI investigated, raided, charged, prosecuted and incarcerated 1,400+ Trump supporters for Jan 6. They not only tacitly endorsed it but funded it.

Of course this unprecedented conviction of Donald Trump would be the natural result. Today’s verdict is as much an indictment of GOP weakness and cowardice as it is the lawless Marxist tendencies of the Democrats.

I hope you’re wrong.  At least, I presume you mean a catastrophic violent event.

My GiveADamn wore out.  It may not be good what happened to Trump here, but he’s such a jackass that it’s hard to care….except so many are so beholden to him as a god, that they’ll do anything for him.  Jan 6.  Not the worst but not a shining moment and opportunistic fodder enough for the communists.  And sorry, no matter what, it doesn’t look good.  He doesn’t look good.  And neither do his minions who slavishly defend him regardless.

I cannot believe the Right is the side who have so bowed down to some man and gone nuts on some man’s sake.  It should never be about some man.

Sorry, I’m blathering on…just don’t know what to say now.  Even the Leftists can now go crazy on us in the streets just for being R.  We once held unquestionable high ground and Trump had brought us low.

It’s hard to care about him.

I am reminded of John Adams coming forward to defend the British soldiers who killed Crispus Attucks at the Boston Massacre.  Adams had no love for the British.  Yet he did believe in truth, fairness, and justice.  And no person should be denied these, no matter how big a jackass you think that person is.

If the Constitutional guarantees of a fair trial can be denied a former President, then such guarantees can be denied you as well.  The Constitution and the Republic itself is being destroyed from within.  And I will not stand idly by and do nothing to stop it simply because I don't like Trump.

What would Martin Niemöller do?

Besides the judge getting rich, will there be any actual legal consequences for the judge being so corrupt?

Speaking of David Duke, I wonder if Ilhan Omar has ever renounced Duke for supporting her?

Newsflash: It matters that the Republican nominee for President is a convicted criminal. The rule of law still matters.

And this won’t be his last conviction. He’s committed multiple crimes and he’s going to be convicted multiple times.

He can never be President again.

Senator Murphy reveals his hand.  The point of this legal exercise was to deny Trump the Presidency.

The question is, did he do it? Of course he did. We all know he did. Whether it rises to the level of 33 felonies, that's another issue, but he absolutely did do what he is accused of doing.

Which is what, @jmyrlefuller ?  What crime is he accused of?  (keyword:  'crime')

I still don't know if there was a crime. But no rational person can fail to believe A) Trump didn't have sex with Stormy; B) Trump ordered the payoff C) He did so to help his campaign  D) he falsified records.

A - True
B - True
C - True
D - False

No crime.

The verdict was a foregone conclusion executed by a corrupt Manhattan legal regime for a specific desired political outcome. This charade has been nothing more than an affront to the rule of law and the fabric that has kept this country together. Republicans should remember that this is how the game is being played #Nov5th #DefundTyranny

Hey Trump zealots?  Now are you on board for balancing the budget and killing off the source of all Democrat power?

But he did do what he is accused of doing.

The only question now, is the punishment.

Again, what crime is he accused of doing?  (Again, the key word here is 'crime') @jmyrlefuller

Want to wager that Merchan sends Trump to Riker's Island just so that he has to miss the Republican convention?

That is exactly what I am afraid of. The judge could sentence him to up to 4 years for each count.  He'd be behind bars for the rest of his life. I don't see this judge being lenient.

This is the DEMS victory moment and they now have Trump exactly right where they want him.
