Truthfully, there's really only 2 things that make me sad about getting old. One is having to wear glasses. The other is not being able to dance any more.

@berdie , but it ain't my druthers. I'd be a fish out of water. As close as I ever came to something you could wear in a Disco was a long maroon suit coat that I had that was all bedazzled. The cowgirls fell over for that suit, me in jeans, a saddled shirt, with my Sunday Tony's all shined up. I used to clean up fair when I still shaved my face. Still not the sort of thing that wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb in the city.
As far as growin old... That's still there in Country... Just have em play a two-step or a waltz, or a stroll... There's plenty for old folks to do at a country dance.... A hillbilly dance (blue grass), even more.
