At what point do we say we’ve lost our country?
By D. Parker

Imagine for a moment what the past few years would have been like if the nation’s socialist “Democratic” party and its media propaganda arm had absolutely no limitations on their power.  What would it be like if we just had one-party rule and the GOP was only an afterthought?

The problem is that you won’t have to imagine anything if President Trump and the pro-freedom right don’t prevail in November, and even then, it might just be a short respite from the Democrat party’s deliberate destruction of the country as founded.

As much as most people would like to deny this reality, we are rapidly reaching a point where things could be very bad.

So we have a situation where a state governor defies the feral government in its efforts to bring in millions of potential illegal Democrat voters, and he’s backed up by several other states...resulting in a civil war.  That was the plot of a movie — a dark comedy — from 1997 entitled The Second Civil War, and it should seem eerily similar to current events.  Sometimes you feel like the female news anchor in the movie, who berated her male counterpart in reporting other events after the shooting broke out in that “there is no other news” (language warning).  If the situation deteriorates even more, it won’t matter what else is happening, because we will inevitably have just two very bad choices.

But first let’s consider two stark realities of what the authoritarian left has done to the country.

Never

Because I think the American experiment is worth fighting for

The pendulum will swing. But we’re gonna have to go through some serious hell in the meantime.
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Nuts, I thought this was a @corbe poll.

The moment the entitlement class became larger that the working class.  circa 2009.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

BULLCRAP.

It don't  matter what the left does.
What matters is that there is no one standing in their way... To include Tumpy and his so-called 'pro-freedom right'.

December 11, 2020. When SCOTUS refused to hear Texas vs Pennsylvania. Many events leading up to that over many years but that is when the back was broken.

Yes. I would say that Election Night 2020 was the near-fatal blow, but SCOTUS had a chance to save things, and they refused to.
Let it burn.

We're losing our country because our leaders - elected, selected, self-chosen - lack moral clarity.

Both sides want power for power's sake, not to make America Exceptional Again.

January 6th was wrong.
The Open Border is wrong.

Both wrongs need to be resolved as soon as possible so we can start Making America Exceptional Again.

The conservative movement turned it's back on education and in doing so basically lost the youth. That ship has sailed. Now all we can hope is for the left to go too far.

Hello --- We HAVE lost our Republic.  IF SCOTUS rules against Trump I believe we will see complete upheaval.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

They will rule in Trump’s favor

And it won’t be a 5 to 4 decision

At some point, people are going to wake up to the reality that SOME of the country is already "lost", and cannot be reclaimed.

Not the entire country, no.
But SOME of it, yes.

Once again, take a couple of minutes to read this post I put up a while back:
https://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,520807.msg2955152.html#msg2955152

Am I the only one here who sees this future?
It's not pleasant, nor is it what most traditional-minded folks want.
But deny it, try to ignore it, and then, perhaps indeed, the ENTIRE country will be "lost"...
