Barack Obama surrendered his law license back in 2008 to escape charges of lying on his bar application.

Mike Obama voluntarily surrendered HIS law license in 1993 after a Federal Judge gave HIM a choice between
surrendering HIS license or standing trial for insurance fraud.

Looks like a law license is not that important when facing the bar or standing trial.
