The Biden administration is just a few months away from coming to a merciful close. And after a string of failures,
mistakes and inexcusable policies, it will be going out the same way it governed: by losing.

After taking over the country's COVID response in 2021, Biden's handlers made any number of indefensible decisions
that affected the lives of millions of Americans. Barring unvaccinated travelers from entering the country, forcing
2-year-olds to wear masks, and vaccine mandates made to coerce desired behavior.

While Biden's attempt to force private employers to fire employees who didn't get COVID vaccines, however unnecessary, 
was thankfully overturned, some of his mandates remained. Including those targeted towards those in the military. Some
military personnel were fired, not allowed to be promoted in rank, or pay back training and signing bonus costs.

Even Navy SEALs, some of the most elite members of our fighting forces, were punished if they didn't get vaccinated. The healthiest, most physically fit members of society, removed from service for refusing a vaccine that almost certainly had no benefits for them, carried a risk of side effects, with efficacy that dropped to zero within just a few months.

Thankfully though, the administration is now finally facing some consequences for its catastrophic mistake.

NAVY SEALs Score Court Victory Over Biden Administration On COVID Vaccine Mandate
The DailyMail reported on Thursday that according to a new settlement, service members who were "mistreated"
by the Biden administration are set to have their military service records "corrected."

The settlement stems from a lawsuit filed by a number of current and former service members who alleged that
the US government unjustly denied their requests for religious exemptions to the COVID vaccine mandate. The
two sides recently reached a settlement, which was in essence a de facto loss for the Biden administration. And
deservedly so.

The Navy "agreed to post a statement affirming the Navy's respect for religious service members," according to
the Daily Mail, and provide "more training" for those who examine requests for religious accommodations. Policies
will also have to change in order to ensure that requests are treated properly.

The government will also have to pay roughly $1.5 million in attorneys' fees racked up fighting its unjustified overreach.

"This has been a long and difficult journey, but the Navy SEALs never gave up," said Danielle Runyan, senior counsel
at First Liberty Institute, per the Daily Mail.

"We are thrilled that those members of the Navy who were guided by their conscience and steadfast in their faith will
not be penalized in their Navy careers."

Another lawyer for the service members said it was a "hard-fought but significant victory" for those who choose to fight
back. It certainly is significant.


Military Members Show Absurdity Of Vaccine Mandates
The vaccine mandates were based on misinformation from Dr. Anthony Fauci, the CDC and other public health authorities,
who incorrectly informed politicians that COVID vaccination would eliminate the risk of infection or transmission. "Safe
and effective" became a universally repeated phrase used to justify extreme, authoritarian overreach. That, importantly,
had no basis in science or evidence.

But as is common when critical thinking is demonized over unblinking ideological compliance, politicians and military
authorities rushed to impose mandates, no matter how illogical. There was never any justification for imposing unwanted
COVID vaccines on young, healthy individuals. Exactly like those in the elite ranks of the U.S. military.

As a letter written by more than 200 service members to the government states, "While implementing the COVID-19
vaccine mandate, military leaders broke the law, trampled constitutional rights, denied informed consent, permitted
unwilling medical experimentation, and suppressed the free exercise of religion."

That's precisely what the Biden administration did, because its trust in incompetent, untrustworthy individuals like
Dr. Fauci and obsession with coercing behavior came before rational thought, caution and common sense. Rights,
consent, the law and free exercise of religion all took, and take, a back seat to what Biden and his political allies
believe in. Thankfully, they're not escaping consequences for their devastating mistakes. If only more people noticed
or cared.

But of course I do not have a paper bill. The only bill I get is online, which is what I am trying to access.

It is a Catch 22 loop. You cannot login without an account number, but you cannot get your account number unless you login.
How bizarre. I had to call customer service. When I explained the problem to them they seemed to think it was not an issue.
Or, it is more likely they just did not care. They think they still send out 'bills' by paper.
This is a company which used to be paper only. They have not adapted to progress.
Their web designer must be 'old school' from the 1900s.

I agree.  Don't even need to investigate the height differences.  It's the gait.  A person is recognizable by the way he walks.  Government already uses that to identify people.  When you approach security at the airport when it isn't busy, yet they still make you walk back and forth through the maze, they are recording you and loading that info into a database.  The person in the clip with the USA logo on his jacket is NOT Joe Biden.  Don't know the back story.  Maybe Hunter's uncle.  Maybe his father-in-law.  But definitely not Joe Biden.

Polish Broadcaster Suspended For Saying John Lennon's 'Imagine' Is A 'Vision Of Communism'

For better or worse, the Olympic opening ceremony got people talking… unless you're the Polish broadcaster
who got suspended for talking about it.

There were all kinds of nonsense in the opening ceremony. Sure, Gojira was awesome, but the Last Supper
with drag queens? That was a bit much for any normal person's taste.

But for Polish broadcaster Przemyslaw Babiarz, he had an issue with the inclusion of the John Lennon song
"Imagine," and not just because that song is wildly overrated, but because he said it was a "vision of communism."

"This is a vision of communism, unfortunately," Babiarz said of the song, according to the Associated Press,
and that immediately caused a kerfuffle in Poland, a nation that knows a thing or two about communism.

But… while I don't think that this is necessarily what Lennon was going for… it sure does seem that Babiarz
kind of has a point.


f you skim through the lyrics — stuff like "Nothing to kill or die for/And no religion, too" and "Imagine no possessions"
— sounds like something any college sophomore digging into Marxist ideologies in an attempt to piss off mom
and dad would be pretty pumped about.

In fact, Lennon basically confirmed this.

"‘Imagine,’ which says, ‘Imagine that there was no more religion, no more country, no more politics,’ is virtually
"The Communist Manifesto,’" Lennon was once quoted as saying, per an essay by writer Kenneth Womack. "Even
though I’m not particularly a Communist, and I do not belong to any movement."

And while Poland is no longer under communist control, Babiarz's comments — which came on TVP, a state broadcast
network — sure ended up with him getting a vaguely authoritarian punishment for stating what looks to be a fact:
no more Olympics.

"Mutual understanding, tolerance, reconciliation — these are not only the basic ideas of the Olympics, but they are also
the foundation of the standards that guide the new Polish Television. There is no consent to violate them."

Whoa, whoa, whoa… the Olympics are about "mutual understanding, tolerance, and reconciliation,' huh? Is that why
they tried to alienate a very significant portion of the global audience by clowning the Last Supper by replacing Jesus
and the Apostles with a fat lady and drag performers?

Which tenant — mutual understanding, tolerance, or reconciliation — was that?

Just wondering…

Babiarz said nothing wrong. Plus, you'd think Polish broadcasters would have a better understanding of why someone
who I'm assuming grew up under communist rule, would be concerned about that sort of ideology seeping into one of
the biggest events in the world.

It was a moment for discussion, if anything. Not a time to make him pack his bags.

On Saturday, July 13, a shooter attempted to assassinate former United States President Donald Trump
during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The shooter struck Trump in the ear and killed a man attending
the rally.

There's no question that this was an assassination attempt on a former president and on the Republican
nominee for president in the 2024 election.

In fact, even the official FBI website refers to the tragic event that way.

"Update on the FBI Investigation of the Attempted Assassination of Former President Donald Trump,"
reads a headline from an update on July 15 on FBI.gov.

"The FBI continues to investigate the shooting incident at the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as
an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump and as potential domestic terrorism," the
first paragraph says.
