I've encountered gas station pumps that IMO, aren't calibrated properly. Call it "spinning".
Because I have a 16 gallon tank and sometimes when I fill it up when it's near empty in the red zone on the gauge, the pump reads over 17 gallons.
Cheating each fill-up a gallon of fuel...when hundreds of vehicles per day follow suit, we're taking serious $$$
Thinking the same thing is easier on EV cars. Plus, while your car is plugged in the drivers are usually inside the building buying fried chicken (Royal Farms) or something.
