This reality hasn't been 'normal' since Obama got in. I felt a 'disturbance in the force'...and didn't need to check election results. I just knew something was wrong.

If you could go back in time and change critical events, who would know those events had been changed? The future would be altered and what was changed might not even ever have existed or be remembered. Smother Adolf Hitler in his crib, and the person who took over Germany (someone was going to do it) might have been a Communist--and kept a Soviet alliance. Whole different outcome.

Tons of sci-fi have been written, but The Man in the High Castle (series on Amazon, based on the book by Philip K. Dick) is one of the better alternate history ones, and Harry Turtledove gets a mention for the same genre.

I think time as we know it - As a dimension, is broken. Purposefully broken.
And without being able to see the whole dimension, we also cannot see any further dimensions beyond it.

That means, however, that moving either forward or backward through time is also necessarily broken. We are caught, only in the now.

The rolling back of the sky, as mentioned in Biblical end times events, I believe, is the repair of time, and the immediate comprehension of everything that exists.

Kinda the other way around... We're in a pocket of continuous 'now' That makes it a whole lot harder for the roaches (the demonic) to operate - THEY cannot mess with time either... They can mess with you now... but if they fail, they'll get no mulligan, and can only mess with you later. That is largely to preserve genealogy, I think - They could not go back and mess with the genealogy leading to the Christ - Or once they figgered out what they'd done, they'd be able to go back and clean up the mess beforehand. They could not do that. But it is also individual protection - You are a sturdy believer... They can't go back and make you un-exist... Mess with your parents to make them a lesser home for you to grow up into, and thereby shake you before the fact... They can only mess with you now, or in a future now.

That limitation is tantamount to a protected forward area behind enemy lines.

I think the big reveal will be way bigger than you and me can even begin to grok from here.

If we went back in time, we would all be bombed out of our heads all the time.
Heroin in cold medicine and cough syrup.
Amphetamines sold as a weight loss helper.
Coca-Cola was loaded with Cocaine.
And, according to black and white movies and shows about the era, everybody drank liquor all the time, including at work.

I think I'll just make an observation here, in hopes of killing this discussion of time:

We'll never get it! We measure time in a way that we can never observe. Everything either happened in a very close past, and consider time in an unknown future. But the one thing we cannot measure is the present, because it is infinitesimal small interval of time.

Now, let it go so we can get back to the Funnies!

It is about time that someone took the time to end the discussion of time. I personally have no time for time discussions, and neither does Kamala. It is high time to put an end to things like this, for example ...
