Although he's an old school lib, I always liked Joe.  Glad he never got anywhere near the White House though...he would have been just like Jimmy Carter.

Agree. I always thought his beliefs were based on his own integrity, not politics. I can respect that, even when they are misguided.

For some reason, I thought Lieberman was older. I agree that, as Democrats go, he wasn't as bad as the rest of his party. I'm sure he was dismayed in his later years to see the party go so virulently whackjob, anti-Israel, and the like.
