Liz Cheney Exploring Third-Party 2024 Presidential Bid

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Monday she is exploring a third-party 2024 presidential bid after dramatically losing Wyoming’s congressional seat in the 2022 GOP primary by about 40 points before settling for a professorship at the University of Virginia.

If Cheney decides to run, she said the calculation would include how to spoil former President Donald Trump’s path to reelection. She said that plan could entail joining a bipartisan ticket.

“I think that the situation that we’re in is so grave, and the politics of the moment require independents and Republicans and Democrats coming together in a way that can help form a new coalition, so that may well be a third-party option,” she told USA Today.

What votes does she think she’s gonna get? But does she think that her new  friends on MSNBC and CNN are gonna actually vote for her?

My oldest son was working in Wyoming while she was their representative, and I asked what people in Wyoming thought of her. He said if she would’ve won her primary, she would’ve been reelected and I agree.

She might get the independent vote. But that isn’t enough to put her over the top without a solid base of support

This would be GREAT if she ran against the Democrat choice. However, the Globalist powers running the Democrat Party will never allow it.

Hard to believe that she still thinks she is a Republican. Kind of like that Christie guy (I think he was a mayor, senator, or governor or something) ranting against Trump still believes anyone cares what he has to say.

Both of these people are like a stand up comedian who does the same routine at every show for years. We know. We get it. You hate Trump ... OK? What else have you got? Is that it? Your whole show is that you hate Trump?

We know what they are going to say before they ever open their mouth, because it is always the same thing.

I HATE TRUMP!! Is not a winning campaign platform. Especially when that is all you stand for.

Go for it Lizzy; embarrass yourself once again.  You couldn't even win re-election.  The obvious though is that you are hoping to take votes away from the GOP nominee, and in particular Trump who lives in that delusional head of yours 24-7.

She'll just split the 3rd party vote even further. You can have one third party candidate getting 10%, or 10 third party candidates getting 1% but you cannot have both.
