In a time when Americans in Israel are relying on their government for support and protection, the U.S. State Department’s Consular Affairs Crisis Management System (CACMS) has left many American citizens hanging in the wind, demanding them to sign promissory notes as a precondition for any assistance in evacuating from the crisis-hit region.

The so-called “assisted departure options” were outlined in an email sent to American citizens stranded in the Middle Eastern nation, stating that the U.S. government would offer loans for transportation.

The Biden regime’s assistance to Americans wishing to depart Israel will come at a financial cost. Specifically, the email states that “departure assistance is provided via a loan from the U.S. government, which requires travelers to sign a promissory note (an agreement to repay) prior to departure.”

The email read as follows:

The situation in Israel is still unpredictable; mortar and rocket fire may take place without warning. Please continue to follow the instructions of security and emergency response officials. Commercial flights are available but limited. If you wish to leave Israel, we encourage you to take advantage of those options now. U.S. carriers have temporarily suspended flights to Israel, if you choose to depart, you will need to fly to an intermediate location and book onward travel from there to the United States.

We understand there is high demand from U.S. citizens wishing to depart and the flight options are reduced. In the coming days we hope to assist U.S. citizens with transportation options to depart Israel. Due to the large numbers of U.S. citizens indicating interest in departure assistance, we will plan to offer transit over several days. If you choose to take this departure assistance, transportation may be by air or sea and will be to a nearby safe location and not to the United States. Travelers should be prepared to arrange their own lodging at the safe location and pay for their own onward travel from the third country to their chosen destination. Departure assistance is provided via a loan from the U.S. government which requires travelers to sign a promissory note (an agreement to repay) prior to departure.

The moment that money went to Qatar it was lost. Who's to say that Qatar is not advancing the $6B to Iran/Hamas due to the fact that the money is in Qatar hands and can be retrieved by them allowing the claim it never reached Hamas? Money is fungible/liquid.

Israeli missiles bombed landing strips at Syria’s Damascus Airport and at its second-largest airport in Aleppo. It is likely no coincidence that a Meraj Airlines passenger jet reportedly carrying Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian was on its way to Damascus at the time of the bombing. European’s Visegrád 24 reported that the flight also had “several commanders of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps on board and several tons of anti-tank missiles for Hezbollah.”

Reports that Amirabdollahian was on board are credible since flight trackers show that the Meraj flight is a jet typically reserved for Amirabdollahian’s use. But another report claims that he was on a different flight. I’ll update as more reliable information comes in. Still waiting for more sources to confirm the anti-tank weapons.

The United States has sent hundreds of millions in taxpayer money to the Gaza Strip since the territory has been under the control of the terrorist group Hamas.

Hamas, which took over Gaza in 2007, launched a series of attacks against Israel starting on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of over 1,200 Israelis and the kidnapping of hundreds of others, some of whom have been tortured or raped. The U.S. has invested hundreds of millions of dollars to improve Gazans’ welfare, and the Biden administration plans to send more taxpayer funds to the region in the coming years despite the risk that some of it is being stolen by Hamas, according to a review of publicly available records.

“We assess there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza. There is less but still some risk U.S. assistance would benefit other designated groups,” the State Department wrote in an internal 2021 document first obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “Notwithstanding this risk, State believes it is in our national security interest to provide assistance in the West Bank and Gaza to support the foreign policy objectives.”

The Truth About Hamas

Hamas -- the Gaza branch of the Muslim Brotherhood --murdered approximately a thousand people on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur 1973 War.  While Israeli armed forces deal with the attack, the ideological brothers-in-arms of the perpetrators in the West celebrate.  Countless demonstrations have been organized worldwide -- from Berlin to Amsterdam to London -- to anti-Israeli protests in New York, Washington, D.C. (a pro-Hamas parade in front of the White House), Florida, and many Canadian provinces.

When the Sydney Opera House was illuminated in the Israeli flag colors at night in Australia, hundreds of Hamas supporters gathered to attack the Opera House while chanting, "Gas the Jews!" Hamas celebration rally in New York City arrogantly flashed the Nazi swastika.

Why are there so many Hamas supporters outside the Gaza Strip?  Why did the anti-American group Code Pink endorse Hamas' butchery of Israelis?  Some are simply anti-Semitic, but anti-Semitism in the West has long been considered not "cool," and only a few relatively low-profile, marginalized groups practice it openly.  Why do so many misguided souls express thanks for the mass slaughter of music festival attendees in Israel?

Biden demanded repayment in Kabul too, if I recall, but I think it was eventually waived after all the public and Congressional outrage.  Seems like a stupid bureaucrat thing that ambassadors in hostile countries conveniently forget about during crises.
