Wow. The Orange Kool-aid sucks you in deep, don't it? The facts are thus:
(1) who knows what DeSantis would have done, simply because he wasn't there; it's easy enough for him to say he would, and he does have a track record in Florida for doing hard things and accomplishing them, so there's a good chance he would have, but there's also a chance he wouldn't have, so that neither favors him nor disfavors him;
(2) Trump did not fire Fauci, even though he had plenty of opportunity, and even after he criticized Fauci; and
(3) Trump gave Fauci an award at the end of Trump's term, when he had no reason or need to curry favor with Fauci, so the giving of the award can only mean that Trump approved of what Fauci had done, thereby putting the lie into any claim that Trump really opposed Fauci.
Those are facts, not speculation, not wishful thinking, but facts. And they do not present a very favorable picture of your Orange God, except unless you're a democrat/liberal.
