EXCLUSIVE: How the migrant crisis is sparking an American civil war: TODD BENSMAN's dispatch from a militarized Texas farm - where Biden's federal agents are sabotaging the state's desperate border enforcement

U.S. Border Patrol leased a private pecan farm, at taxpayer expense, to help them process illegal immigrants entering America through Eagle Pass, Texas

An enraged Texas Gov. Greg Abbott responded by dispatching officers to barricade the farm's gate and destroy a ramp leading migrants up from the river

The wasteful, ludicrious conflict pits two American forces against each other and it's a glimpse into a truly dysfunctional border crisis

Few places along our 2,000-mile southern border with Mexico more perfectly illustrate America's utterly dysfunctional immigration policy than a remote, private pecan farm in Eagle Pass, Texas.

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

It's States' interests versus Federal Executive non-compliance with Federal law.

If Texas expects any success in its fight to keep out the illegal invasion, at some point it is going to have to go up squarely "against the federal law" and take the action that the federals will not take.

And if it wants to succeed, Texas will have to confront the federals and say "no" to federal authority -- and let the chips fall where they may afterwards.

Otherwise, the DCcommunists are going to win.
There is no other choice.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.

Yep. The Feds are circumventing our own laws, and likely the laws of the Republic pf Texas.  They are engaging in human trafficking and violating Immigration Law.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
