Disgraced FBI Official Defends Hillary Clinton’s Handling Of Classified Info: ‘It Was Simply Conversations’

Former Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Andrew McCabe claimed Monday that Hillary Clinton lacked “intentionality” when it came to her handling of classified material.

“Neither the IG or FBI was able to cover any evidence of intentionality, intention to remove material, intention to withhold material, intention to essentially converse in classified ways,” McCabe said on “CNN News Central.” “It was simply conversations — mostly it was information that was sent to Secretary Clinton while she was secretary and that she either responded to or received.”

An email server set up in Hillary Clinton’s Chappaqua home during her tenure as Secretary of State became the subject of a FBI investigation during the 2016 presidential campaign. Then-FBI Director James Comey announced Clinton would not face prosecution in a July 2016 press conference.

No, it was simply a felony.

"Nothing to see here folks, move on!"

BTW,wasn't the server and the hard-drive she used at home somehow "mysteriously" destroyed?

IF it was,I am sure that was just a coinky dink.

@Hoodat

No,it was and is simply a case of some people having more rights than other people. It's not a felony until it is proven in court to be a felony, and we ALL know that is NEVER going to happen.

Once again,we are all equal, but some people ARE "more equal than other people".

CNN's Effort to Explain the Differences Between Trump and Clinton Cases Goes All Kinds of Wrong
By Nick Arama | 10:15 AM on June 13, 2023

One of the things that people talk about when they talk about the unequal application of the law is the comparison of how former President Donald Trump was pursued even before he got into office. In contrast, Hillary Clinton has gotten a huge pass for all she’s done, including her private server and her own document scandal.

It’s bad enough that she got a pass. But then when CNN using former FBI official Andrew McCabe to talk about the “differences” — what he said and how CNN handled it — shows just what a problem we have. We saw how House Speaker Kevin McCarthy decimated a CNN reporter over the hiring of McCabe and former Obama DNI James Clapper.

This is truly something else — from what McCabe says to the chyron at the bottom, seemingly downplaying what Clinton did.

He said that they weren’t “classified documents” but information that was deemed to be classified — as though that somehow made a difference. It’s still classified information. He claimed that what they didn’t have was evidence that she intentionally exchanged or withheld classified information.

McCabe is a liar.  And so is Jake Tapper.  They both actually say that there was no attempt by Hillary Clinton to hide this information, despite the fact that she did a total wipeout of her servers, and then smashed the hard drives with a hammer.

Why is Andrew McCabe still walking around free instead of in an orange jumpsuit?
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
