Somewhere on the earlier threads, there was a replica of a Wermacht Panzer V parked on the side of the road somewhere in Ukraine.  I'll see if I can dig it up.  The hull was a Panther, but it was seated on some other tank chassis.

It may be that these are T-34-85s, which have an 85 mm instead of the original 76 mm gun.

Ukraine is in trouble now!  Instead of just one cook stirring the stew, there will be 10-15 with each having political obligations that may not be in harmony.  The best way for s military to operate is not by committee. :nono:

Um, this move reduces the political influence. It also makes the case for the other NATO countries to shoulder more of the cost for supporting Ukraine.

Could be. Keep in mind that the T-34 was designed for fighting on the western steppes, and not the highways of Europe.

I really hope the Russians don't waste those T-34 antiques in some pointless battle over some obscure village, hill, or pile of dung.

When the war and sanctions are over those tanks would be worth good money to military vehicle collectors.
