No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Gorgeous breed!
Yes, she's a beauty, and wicked smart. We gave her a couple of those dog puzzles, and she went through them in seconds. She's a glorious challenge to entertain, and responds to sentences, and even has played tricks on me. Very vocal, too, and will communicate in other ways as well. She has learned to point to what she wants with her nose, in a way that leaves little doubt what she wants.  (And yes, I spoil her rotten). :beer:

Take her to the rig?  If I took my Jack Russell to the rig she'd be running full speed ahead to the next town as soon as I opened the door.
No, I am afraid not.
First, the operator I have been working for doesn't allow that. That, and she's a rescue. There are certain types of folks she just. does. not. like. Likely they remind her of her abuser(s).
Considering it took her just a couple of seconds to chew through a lead rope for a horse, I'd hate it if she took a dislike to someone.

@Smokin Joe

Doesn't she need a lot of exercise...to stay in sync with her spirit, etc.?

At 77, I wouldn't be doing Peaches any favors in her care/upkeep.

I absolutely love dogs however...and they seem to love me back.  So there's that...    :beer:
