While I can see an easy way to get it out by simply unhooking the trailer and towing it backwards,I have no idea how they managed to get the truck and trailer in there like that.

I passed by a mobile home dealership today on my way back from town,and it had a HUGE banner on it stating "5 bedrooms and 3 baths,only $199,900!"

And this is just the mobile home. You still have to buy  a lot,pay for sewer and water hookups,put in a driveway or 3,etc,etc,etc.

I can't be the only one that remembers when 200 grand was a LOT of freaking money!

Bought my 2 year old 3br 2bath doublewide at a forclosure sale around 1985. IIRC,I paid about 12 grand for it.

Still living in it.

Can't even get a mobile home up in here. Bank won't finance. The county won't approve septic. Electric and gas won't hook it up... No FHA.


I can get a decent doublewide under 20k at any time. Which is fine if you hook your own electric, have grandfathered septic, and burn wood for heat... Though it will be way under book at sale.
