How many out there believe FDR knew it was coming?
I don't know what intelligence was like in the 40s. It could well be that he had a report that an attack was imminent.
he may have had numerous threats and thought...sure, right...Pearl Harbor will be attacked.
Just for the record, I feel much the same way about 9/11.
I really believe that we in this country, including those in leadership roles, think we are immune since it is a rare occurrence.
That being said, weren't the planes moved from the Philippines? Maybe he thought that was the area of greatest threat.
It would make sense that that area was far more vulnerable.
