I must note that both were in states that are hotbeds of election fraud.
Both races are being waved about as if they are some sort of massive rejection of Trump and candidates he supported, and the GOPe would gladly throw a couple of elections (or at least look the other way while they were stolen) to use those losses as some sort of 'proof' that Trump's days are done, because he is still a very real threat to the swamp, and there are swamp critters on both sides of the aisle.

The bottom line, though, is that the vast majority of Trump backed candidates won.
You'd never know it listening to the pundits, though.

I'm not buying that, in spite of what, five, six years of constant crowing about how 'trump is done', over and over again? The Bolsheviks know this technique of old. repeat a lie long enough and often enough and it becomes believed.

Truth.  And the most disturbing part about it is that Trump favored these candidates over more Conservative candidates.  All Trump cares about it loyalty.  If Bernie Sanders came out and endorsed Trump, he would get Trump's backing in his next Senate race.

At some point, Trump's most ardent supporters are going to have to wake up to the fact that Trump is not a Conservative.

   Walker and Trump go back to 84 and the New Jersey Generals, USFL.  They sued the NFL at Trump's insistence and WON a lousy $3.  The USFL disbanded quickly after that.  He didn't declare bankruptcy over that one.

He may be a Nationalist, and a populist, but he has never been the defining face of Conservatism.
