War on Women: Biden White House Fuels Gender Pay Gap

Women in the West Wing make 83 cents for each dollar paid to men, analysis finds

Ginger Morrow  •  September 28, 2022  •  5:00 am

On the 2020 campaign trail, Joe Biden promised to close the gender pay gap in workplaces across the country, but in the second year of his presidency he has failed to close the gender gap on his own payroll, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.

Female employees in the West Wing earn a median salary of $83,467, more than $16,000 less than the median salary of $100,000 for male employees, an analysis of a White House salary disclosure found. The 16.5 percent wage discrepancy tracks almost perfectly with the national gender pay gap, according to President Joe Biden’s own proclamation on Equal Pay Day in March, which stated that women across the nation make 17 cents less per dollar than men.

The White House released its annual salary disclosure this summer, which lists the names, titles, and annual salaries of all employees. The Washington Free Beacon surveyed the salaries of all White House employees on the disclosure, which lists 173 men and 235 women.  .  .

That may be true, but before I would get on the band wagon, I would need to see level of education and length of service.

Level of education shouldn't matter, but it does. I worked for one of the most brilliant women I have ever known. But she didn't have the piece of paper to prove it. That's wrong, but it is the way it is.

Length of service absolutely matters.

Biden's "Creepy Uncle" vibe is war enough on the women working in the White House.

Another thing that also matters is the number of hours worked.

And the tasks being performed... Comparing the salaries of a male lawyer and a female Admin Assistant is invalid and purposely inflammatory.

The above chart is totally meaningless.  With 235 women, a number of them are dealing with child birth, and working part-time.

Once one takes into consideration women leaving the workforce for child bearing and rearing, incomes are equal.  They choose to remain out of the workforce to raise their family, and that has an impact on their income progression.

Income inequality is just more Democommie lies and propaganda nonsense.

That chart does point out that there are 62 MORE WOMEN EMPLOYED THAN MEN.  But I doubt men will rise up and complain about women taking jobs away from them.

I was going by their rules, not by rules that actually make sense.  All of the valid points brought up have never been included in left-wing rhetoric.
