Strong winds have been reported across the island, including a 103 mph wind gust reported in the city of Ponce.
And because of the strong wind, Hurricane Fiona is now responsible for causing an island-wide blackout, plunging nearly 1.5 million customers into darkness as the storm spins off the coast.
