Poll: Senate Race Is Shockingly Close in, Wait for It, Washington

We've been hearing an awful lot, even from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) himself, that Republicans taking back control of the Senate isn't as likely to happen, due to "candidate quality." It's worth noting that forecasters still have it as a "Toss-Up," or for Democrats only slightly favored to keep control of the chamber, as many races are tight in key seats.

One of them, surprisingly enough, is in Washington state, where Sen. Patty Murray, the Democratic incumbent, is just a few percentage points ahead of her Republican challenger, Tiffany Smiley. This is according to a recent poll from the Trafalgar Group.

Patty Murray is the dumbest person ever to hold a US Senate seat.

That would be amazing if they could pull it off.

Murray has shown herself to be something of a "bot" when it comes to issues. 

I don't know where the recalcitrance would come from, but please let it be so.

The only problem being that in six years, the dems might come back with a true activist loser who will make us wish we had Murray around.

No way this stupid state elects a "R" senator.  They'll steal it before it gets that close.
