MSNBC analyst Malcolm Nance predicted that a litany of horrors and injustices would certainly follow if Republicans were successful in their efforts to retake control of the House, the Senate, or both in November’s midterm elections.

Nance spoke with Sirius XM radio host Dean Obeidallah on Friday about the upcoming elections, and he made it clear that the seriousness of the predicament in which Democrats find themselves could not be oversold.

“What should Democrats be doing?” Obeidallah asked.

“It’s battle stations! The Democrats, Joe Biden, all the rest of them need to understand they are… What are we? July, August, December, October, November. You are four months from the end of American democracy. Four months. And we said that in 2020. And that was true then, too, right?” Nance began, claiming that if Republicans gained power, they would never allow another election to be held.

Congressional Republicans are already bragging about impeaching Biden and launching "investigations" of Biden admin.

They won't "cancel" elections.  They need the mirage of elections to claim electoral legitimacy.  Instead, they'll make it more difficult for non-MAGA constituencies to obtain a ballot, cast a vote, have a vote counted, and to have local and state election officials, and state legislatures, nullify non-Maga votes.

That's what they tried to accomplish in plain view during the 2020 election:

If the non-MAGA constituencies include dead people, people who live 1000 to the same vacant lot, illegal aliens and the like, (IOW, fraudulent ballots), then I am all for making it harder to have those ballots printed out and cast and counted.
For any legal voter, provide ID, show up, and vote, with absentee ballots for the deployed/active duty military and those who cannot get to the polls for reasons other than being entombed somewhere or being nonexistent.

I think it is reasonable that we limit voting to actual, living, eligible (citizen) voters, no matter their politics.

No, I don't agree with the certitude of the article.  It is definitely hyperbolic media alarmist fear porn  to encourage viral disemination and web clicks.

There are elements of both parties with anti-Constitutional leanings that seek to impose their will upon the governed without the consent of the governed.

Media outlets for both sides use anger and fear to draw readers, listeners, and viewers.  Fear porn is profitable for media corporations and poltical consultants.

All citizens need to remain vigilant against all those who seek to impose tyrrany upon the willing.
