Mexican government buses migrants to US border as illegal immigration becomes top election issue

The Mexican government has started busing migrants to the U.S. border if they have appointments under a controversial use of a phone app implemented by the Biden administration that allows migrants to be paroled into the U.S.

The Mexican National Institute of Migration posted the video of what it said was the first bus transporting "foreigners" from Tapachula, in the south of the country near Guatemala, to Reynosa near the U.S. border. It said that migrants will attend their appointments scheduled via the CBP One app. It is part of an "Emerging Safe Mobility Corridor" launched by the Mexican government last month.

The CBP One app was expanded during the Biden administration to allow up to 1,450 migrants per day to schedule an appointment at a U.S. port of entry to be paroled into the U.S. if they meet certain conditions. The app also allows them to upload documents ahead of that appointment.

The Biden administration has said that the app is a key part of its migration strategy, which involves increasing funding to the border while expanding "lawful" migration pathways. It has also used the app to allow up to 30,000 nationals from four countries to fly directly into the U.S. after being approved.

But Republicans have accused the administration of abusing humanitarian parole, which is supposed to be used on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit. They have said that the administration is waving in migrants quasi-legally, and have pointed to numbers suggesting that over 95% of migrants who schedule an appointment are allowed in.................

US to sanction Mexican drug cartel Jalisco over fentanyl trafficking

FIRST ON FOX: The Treasury Department is expected to announce sanctions Tuesday against individuals and entities linked to a violent Mexico-based drug trafficking cartel responsible for a significant portion of fentanyl and other deadly drugs trafficked into the United States, Fox News Digital has learned.

The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control is set to announce sanctions against nine Mexican nationals and 26 Mexico-based entities linked to a fuel theft network that generates tens of millions of dollars for the cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion.

Mexico-based drug trafficking cartels, like cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion, have turned to fuel theft in recent years, resulting in billions of dollars in lost revenue to the Mexican government.

The Treasury Department's move to sanction was coordinated with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), as well as Mexico’s government. U.S. officials also coordinated with Mexico’s financial intelligence unit. ................

I say we sanction both Mexico and China.  Curtail 10% trade coming into the USA each month until they commit to end the trade of fentanyl.  How many months do you think it would take for them to come to their senses.

This is war.  No bullets, but Americans have been dying at a much higher rate than they did in any war, with the exception of the Civil War.  Last number I heard was 105,000 in one year.  This is unacceptable!

How sad that we as a country have gotten to this point and not a dang thing has been done.  Corruption is so deep and massive that the rule of law no longer matters.

Illegal Chinese immigrant exposed hundreds in Louisiana to rare TB strain, state sues Mayorkas, ICE

Louisiana is suing Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and various agencies after an illegal Chinese immigrant may have exposed hundreds of people in the state to a rare, drug-resistant form of tuberculosis.

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry and state Attorney General Liz Murrill on Wednesday said the unnamed migrant was moved by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) through different facilities in the state, possibly exposing at least 200 other detainees and staff.

The Chinese national has a rare, aggressive, and drug-resistant form of tuberculosis, which carries high mortality rates, the lawsuit states..........

Trump's 'border czar' warns Dem govs rejecting Trump deportation plan: ‘Get the hell out of the way’

Thomas Homan, who President-elect Donald Trump appointed as "border czar" on Sunday night, has a clear message for any Democratic governors who oppose the planned mass deportation operation.

"If they're not willing to help, then get the hell out of the way because [Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)] is going to do their job," Homan, who was acting ICE director during the first Trump administration, told Fox News Digital in an interview on Friday.

Trump announced on Sunday that Homan will be appointed "border czar" and would be in charge of the borders and "all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their country of origin" in the new administration.

Agreed. But I'll hope for the best. Risking disappointment...what the heck!

As far as I'm concerned, all these Dem governors and sanctuary states/cities can house and fund the illegals. With no federal support. Put their money where their mouth is.

I hear what you're saying.  Talk and action are two different things.  Trump absolutely blew his super majority in his previous first term.  I hope we don't see a repeat. Obviously a lot is going to depend on who leads the Senate and the House.  Jeffries will be a disaster as well as either Cornyn or Thune.

Provided that the GOP has a majority in the House,  then it's up to Johnson and I'm hoping we'll see the action Trump has promised.  I haven't listened to every rally, but there's been talk of deportations and not so much talk of a border wall.  So ........ IMO without a border wall, deportations are going to perhaps become futile.  There needs to be a strongly manned border wall.

This has once again become the critical issue and one that once again got him elected. He needs to do whatever it takes to fulfill the promise of border security and deportations.

We all know too well, that there's no re-election at stake here to keep him in check. That's always been a concern, but I think he'll make good on as many promises as he can.

I posted this in two threads. It is crucial that people start paying attention and watch their backs. The invasion and attack on our citizens has never been more apparent and front and center.  This is spreading like wildfire; illegals taking over apartments, cities, and now human trafficking in four cities in one state, yet the current regime does absolutely nothing!!!!  Who would have thought in Nashville???  Lots of folks visit Nashville; land of country music.  9999hair out0000

Venezuelan gang's human trafficking operations surge in Tennessee's four major cities

Tennessee police are warning about the surge of Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang activity in their four major cities, with a top law enforcement official placing the blame on the "porous" southern border.

"This gang has exploited [the border]," said Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch on "Fox & Friends." Friday.

Rausch said the gang has been running human trafficking operations and expanding into other criminal activities in Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga.

"They go from human trafficking to organized retail crime theft, and then they move into the drug trade, taking on the cartels in very violent, bloody battles that they've had."

Obvously they don't understand that they ARE criminals as they have entered our country ILLEGALY!!!!

Undocumented migrants hope Trump mass deportations only 'for criminals'

Gabriela entered the United States more than two decades ago, gasping for breath under a pile of corn stalks in the boot of a smuggler's car.

Now a housekeeper in Maryland, the Bolivian national is one of at least 13 million undocumented migrants living in the US - an umbrella term that includes those who entered the US illegally, overstayed their visas or have protected status to avoid deportation.

Across the US, migrants like Gabriela are grappling with what the incoming Trump administration's vow to conduct mass deportations could mean for their future.

In over a dozen interviews, undocumented immigrants said it was a topic of heated discussion in their communities, WhatsApp groups and social media.

Some, like Gabriela, believe it won't impact them at all.

"I'm not scared at all, actually," she said. "That's for criminals to worry about. I pay taxes, and I work."

"In any case, I'm undocumented," she added. "[So] how would they even know about me?"

In an election campaign where immigration loomed large as a major concern of US voters, Trump frequently pledged to deport migrants en masse from US soil from his first day in office if he were to return to the presidency.

But nearly two weeks after his sweeping election win, it remains unclear what exactly these immigration enforcement operations will look like.

The president-elect has insisted cost won't be an issue, but experts have cautioned that his promises may run into enormous financial and logistics challenges.

His newly appointed "border tsar", Tom Homan, has said that undocumented migrants deemed to be national security or public safety threats will be a priority. And he has suggested workplace raids - a practice ended by the Biden administration - could return..................

If Gabriela is "working and paying taxes" then, in addition to committing immigration fraud, she is almost certainly also committing social security fraud using a social security number that wasn't legally issued to her.

Perhaps she's referring to taxes paid on goods???  Fraud would ultimately also fall back on the employer as they are supposed to match and report payroll deductions.

And herein lies the problem.  Those on the left welcome illegal aliens because they provide them with cheap labor.  This woman here works as a housekeeper for a wage somewhat lower than a legal worker who does not have the threat of deportation hanging over her head.  And she is stuck here.  She can't quit and go work for someone else.  And she must do what her master says, lest she be turned over to ICE.  It's a 21st century version of the slavery Democrats supported back in the first half of the 19th century.

Border Patrol braces for gunfire after Mexican cartel reportedly puts out hit against agents

The United States Border Patrol issued a warning to its officers to prepare for potential gunfire following reports that a Mexican cartel had issued a hit against agents.

A Border Patrol memo from Thursday, obtained by NewsNation, stated that the San Diego Sector Intelligence Unit received an alert on December 4 "regarding a possible threat" to agents stationed at the Imperial Beach and Chula Vista Border Patrol Stations.

The memo referred to a November 27 incident in which a Border Patrol officer struck an illegal immigrant with a patrol vehicle. According to the agency, the individual was a cartel member.

Video footage of the incident showed a group of men attempting to scale the border wall. NewsNation reported that these men were aiding another person in unlawfully crossing the border when a Border Patrol agent, responding to the breach, struck the alleged cartel member.

The agency stated that the driver was fixated on two other individuals who were actively scaling the wall when he hit the man.

"Therefore, cartel leaders are angered, claiming the incident occurred without cause or remorse," the Border Patrol's memo stated. "The information received indicated the shooting could possibly occur over the next few days."

The agency advised agents to remain vigilant. ...............

Let's Go Brandon!!

US immigration surge under Biden administration is biggest in US history — outpacing the days of Ellis Island

The US has seen its largest surge in immigration in its history under the Biden Administration — surpassing the Ellis Island-era migration boom that changed the face of the nation forever, according to a shocking new analysis.

An average of 2.4 million immigrants per year poured into the US between 2021 and 2024, according to the Congressional Budget Office. About 60% of the migrants crossed into the US illegally, a Goldman Sachs analysis found.

The total net migration during the Biden administration is expected to reach more than 8 million — exceeding even the pace of new arrivals to the US during the 1850s when the portion of foreign-born residents exploded, according to a New York Times analysis.

“For the past four years, we’ve been hearing from the administration, it’s not a problem… And the American public knows when they’re being lied to,” said Ira Mehlman, a spokesperson for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) advocacy group.

“And that was one of the things that probably influenced the election.”

Experts blamed President Biden’s messaging as he took office in 2021 that America would welcome asylum seekers, combined with his permissive catch-and-release policies at the border and generous immigration courts, for the massive surge.

“What Biden created day one was chaos,” Lora Ries, the Director of the Border Security and Immigration Center at The Heritage Foundation, told The Post. ................

Could even be higher than 8 million.
How do they really know?
