Ukrainian troops seize Russian electronic warfare system, hand to US
Western forces will study the advanced system
March 28, 2022 By Sebastian Moss Comment
An advanced Russian electronic warfare system has been seized by Ukrainian troops.
The Krasukha-4 command module can jam drones, missiles, and low-orbit satellites, and may also be able to track NATO aircraft.
The system is set to be taken to Germany and flown to the US, where it will be carefully examined.
The Krasukha-4 was found on the outskirts of Kyiv, slightly damaged, but otherwise operational.
Russian troops appear to have attempted to cover the command module with branches to hide it, after an unknown accident or issue caused them to abandon it. They did not try to destroy it.
