BREAKING: Judge Lets CONVICTED Antifa Rioter Go Free…
(The Post Millennial) – The US Attorneys Office for the District of Columbia recommended no prison time for Jason Robert Charter, 27, an Antifa militant from Chevy Chase, Washington, DC
Charter pleaded guilty last August in connection to two DC riots following the death of George Floyd in 2020.
US Attorney Matthew Graves recommended that the court sentence Charter to just 30 hours of community service, three years of probation, 45 days of home detention, a $500 fine, and a $2,600 restitution payment to the Treasury, according to court documents.
In July 2020, Charter was federally charged on multiple counts including destruction of government property, destruction of veterans’ memorials, and aiding and abetting. He was accused of participating with others to topple and destroy the statue of Albert Pike on June 20, 2020. The Department of Justice referenced video where Charter was filmed setting the statue on fire.
