If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

You are obviously a person that can afford to buy REAL Tupperware @roamer_1 so I assume you won't be bidding on My Classic Containers.

What is really funny about it @corbe ,is that I DO save containers like that, for bringing stuff over to some house party or another... Don't have to worry nobody with getting your dishes back...

My gourmet cook brother gives me his Sunday sauce in those containers.

And he will ONLY give me a refill with the cleaned container absent any evidence of tomato sauce.

I buy Tupperware type containers at the Dollar store.  All different sizes are $1.25 and I don't have to worry about getting them back.

Same thinking I guess... But I go through a butt-ton of sour cream... And a fair amount of Cool Whip... Might as well save the containers for that purpose.

There's probably eight medium sour cream jugs sitting in my tupperware drawer right now. I just seen the stack, as I used one to send my son on his way with some chili and corn bread the other day (which I am fairly famous for)

Anybody remember saving jelly jars that had cartoon characters (if I recall they were Flinstones) on them for drinking glasses?

Some gas stations used to give away glasses or mugs too.

Margarine is a crime against humanity.  Can't cook with it, tastes like crap.  No socially redeeming value.  I haven't tasted it in about 45 years.

YES. There's still a couple of them down at Ma's... We probably had the whole set at one time.

Has MLB forced that on the NL yet?  They've been talking about it for years.

I hate it because when Pitchers don't have to face the 95 MPH fast ball, they get sloppy and start hitting Batters.  With 95 MPH fast balls.

Nope. This meme is incorrect. There is no such thing as a bullet proof audit. The job of the auditors is to reimburse the IRS for their salary and travel expenses. Combined with the tax code changing from year to year all the time. They will find something wrong. That's their whole job.

Obviously taxes are about to increase exponentially. That's why they are increasing IRS personnel by over 100%. That's why the IRS agency has hundreds of thousands of weapons, and 700,000 rounds of ammunition.

@libertybele

Yes,in fact I do,but that was a "thing" that didn't last very long for two reasons.

Reason 1: The damn glasses were too big for shot glasses, and too small for anything else, unless it was as a milk glass for a pre-teen child

Reason 2: And this one is the biggie. Moms from blue-collar or no-collar familes tend to try to shop thrifty if possible, and those tiny little glasses of Jelly cost too much. MUCH cheaper to buy a bigger jar with a screw-off top.

AFATG,there is nothing says you can't drink liquids, especially powerful clear liquids, from a jar with a screw-off lid,and best of all,if for some odd reason you get sleepy or clumsy, the screw off lid prevents you from losing a valuable liquid if you happen to knock it over or drop it. Don't ask me how I know this.

I hope I don't jeopardize TBR for this, realizing we've been priced out of our overseas Server protection, that we use to have.

I'm down to my last three 25th anniversary Disney glasses we had at MickeyD's but I didn't pay for them I brought a case of them home from work when I was a manager. Forty years of kids, grandkids and moving have taken their toll, they were actually very good glasses.
