Mine,too.

The old black and white "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" is another. I still watch them in black and white on the "secret" tv channels that the biggies own,but don't promote. They fill them with REALLY old tv shows they don't have to pay royalties on (my best guess) so they can justify keeping them to the FCC.

They also show bile like "Petticoat Junction". Anything to keep the broadcast license live in case they need to expand.

They also show the original Twighlight Zone, One Step Beyond, Naked City, but yeah also shows that are well past their sugary pap content time.

The black thing is found on the power supply cords of some laptops (and probably other types of electronic equipment) and is a ferrite core that is designed to prevent the device from generating electrical interference.
