Nice looking drilling. Depending on the make could be worth well north of $2,000.00

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Probably from somewhere down south...where they use no. 2 diesel in winter and come up here and wonder why their truck won't run...

@Smokin Joe

I suppose there must be SOME reason that I would drive my diesel pu into yankeeland,but I sure can't think of it off-hand.

Can't even understand why yankees like there,other than they don't know any better.

Been around a while, the Over/Under.

@Cyber Liberty

My older brother had an over and  under in the 50's that had a shotgun barrel on the bottom,and a rifle barrel on the top. I THINK the rifle barrel was a 30/30,and I THINK the gun was a Marlin.

Could easily be wrong about the make. Been a LONG time.

This was a territory, not Yankee land.
Keep in mind a lot of folks here lost their land to blue coated soldiers, too.

As for me, the people here are a lot like the people where I grew up were, when I grew up there.
There is freedom to be found in living some place others might not find appealing, and winter keeps the riff-raff out.

But we get folks from Texas and Oklahoma up here every year it gets cold, and they have a tank of no. 2 that promptly gels up about 20 below. It's a cottage industry, towing semis to some place warm to thaw them out and drain off the jello...change filters, etc.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Hmmm, just curious but I wonder what the cooks would call out when the to go order was ready, maybe 'Knockers Up'?

Which oddly reminds of an old risque comedienne Rusty Warren

Marriage
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists

I'm guessing this is a post-family restaurant, then?
