Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

LOL!  Heck...I've often fantasized that I had a luxury home hidden from the street, which could only be seen from the sky.

One where you had a thorn-filled thicket that opened at the touch of a button and immediately closed again...where my home was built into a hill, then entire exposed side of glass overlooking the valley/cityscape.

Of course, @roamer_1  probably already has one.    :laugh:

The holler ain't far from that @DCPatriot ...

End of a two-track... you have to know where to turn off to get to the place.. It is rock so no tracks, and the only way in is through the creek just down from the falls, and thirty feet downstream, is the top of the next falls...
You cannot see the property at all getting to it. And I DO mean the ONLY way... That lower falls is the beginning of a ravine that wraps the west and the south, and high cliffs to the east... with another hundred acres up to the north, equally inaccessible (my  entrance completely controls that land). I have very little fencing to do.

BUT, 'digging it into the hill won't happen - It is shield country, with rock sticking out all over... You won't get down more than 2 or 3 feet without running into a piece of Montana.

And it is likely, because it is a hanging valley (with a spectacular view), that once the cabin is there, the light from the cabin will be quite visible for miles to the south.

So close, but not quite.

@Kamaji

Is that John Wayne and Goldi Hawn?

If that is Goldi,I damn sure don't remember her being so skinny. I remember her looking like a hot woman,not a skinny boy with a wig.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

You may find 'nobility' in a savage. But never forget that his first instinct is to kill you.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists
