President Joe Biden continues to make something more than simply verbal gaffes the deeper he gets into his presidency, leading more Americans than ever to conclude that his mind just isn’t up to the task.

He did it again over the weekend after a cluster of tornados tore through portions of the Midwest, leaving death and destruction in their wake.

“I’m monitoring the situation very closely since early this morning. This is likely to be one of the largest tornado outbreaks in our history,” Biden said during a press conference shortly after the twisters destroyed much of Mayfield, Ky., and caused severe damage in portions of surrounding states.

“Earlier today, I called the governors of the states that have been — experienced severe impacts of the storms, including Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, as well as Tennessee.”

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

“Jill and I pray — and I sincerely mean this — pray for those who have lost loved ones and for those who are uncertain of the fate of their loved ones. And the debris that you see scattered all over the hurricane’s path,” Biden said.
