COVID Kabuki Theater
« on: December 13, 2021, 08:17:32 am »
So, my office building has decided to reimpose a "mask" requirement to enter/leave the building, and in all the public places within the building.

The requirement is to wear a mask or a "cloth covering" over the face.  My scarf, which looks more or less like the one in the picture below, counts:

How ridiculous is that?  It's a chunky knit with spacing that a small fly could fit through, but it passes as a valid "cloth covering" as long as I have it wrapped around my face when I enter the building.

Hey, at least you’ll be fashionable.

Mask chic is important.
The abnormal is not the normal just because it is prevalent.

At least they allow you to come into the office.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-
