CNN is bracing for a legal battle with fired host Chris Cuomo over his contract, sources said Monday — after a bitter back-and-forth about what the network knew of his secret efforts to aid his embattled brother, then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Chris Cuomo, 51, has hired lawyers and is preparing to file suit against CNN if it doesn’t honor the remainder of the four-year contract he signed last year, sources familiar with the matter told The Post on Monday.

The deal is reportedly worth $6 million annually.

But CNN has “no intention of paying [Chris] Cuomo a penny,” an insider said.

“If he gets a settlement, there would be uproar,” the source added.

Another source said, “CNN has a standard morality clause in their contract that says if the employee does anything of disrepute, they can be immediately fired.”

Add to that CNN is a nonprofit organization. Their audience is less than Animal Planet reruns and they do not care. If CNN was interested in gaining audience share and making money, they would have switched venue years ago from the far-Left Communist Propaganda channel to a more normal balanced presentation.

But they don't care. CNN is like a Leftist cult, in which all members have pledged to go down with the ship no matter what. They will continue their Communist Crusade to the bitter end, even if it kills them, which is what is happening today.

Have heard pundits debate how it is possible that CNN stays in business with their abysmal audience share. The most likely answer is that they are being subsidized by Soros and other billionaires. It is very unlikely that CNN stays afloat based on their merits.
