Unless he can prove Powell was infected through contact with a particular unvaccinated person, that may be the most ignorant reaction yet to the man's death.

Very true.

If your vaccine worked why would you need to worry about my vaccine status?

All the lefties lining up to say what a great man Colin was. Guess they have short memories of what they said before.
Perhaps it was because he was black. Guess they are lining up for deaths of other great blacks as this is the season
for that sort of virtue signaling. Can't imagine what they will say about a certain black Supreme of long standing or
of a certain black Brain Surgeon of substantial merit.

I would rather call a man great while he is alive and active to change things in the here and now.
Colin Powell was a decent man, but his actions did cost many lives and made the war industry untold millions.

He attacked Hussain about weapons of mass destruction at the, was it a UN court? I remember hearing it on the radio.
Perhaps Limbaugh routed it through his program.Powell was a good boy and took the stab. That likely caused his death.

That is a quote I will definitely use, next time I am asked. Thank you very much.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Trump releases eye-popping statement on Colin Powell’s passing
October 19, 2021 | Frank Webster

Former President Trump released a statement Tuesday on the passing of Colin Powell and he did not shy away from criticism of the ex-military leader. Trump posted on Twitter:

“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday.”

“He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!”

Powell leaves the legacy of a transformational black man.  His chosen vehicle was the US Army and his weapon of choice was political acumen.

He would jettison the political party and its principles that gave him his firsts: black national security advisor, black chairman of the joint chiefs of staff ànd black secretary of state --- to elect a black president.  All Powell had to do was overlook the candidate's military worldview, Muslim affiliations and embrace of socialisim and stay focused on all that mattered: the color of Obama Senior's skin.

Powell never looked back.

Mission accomplished.

Colin Powell, former general and secretary of state, dead at 84
NY Post, Oct 18, 2021

Republican former Secretary of State Colin Powell died Monday as a result of complications from COVID-19, his family said.

The 84-year-old former military leader, whose 2003 United Nations speech paved the way for the Iraq war, was fully vaccinated against the virus.

“General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away this morning due to complications from Covid 19. He was fully vaccinated,” his family said in a statement on Facebook.

“We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment. We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American.”

It wasn’t immediately what complications he suffered or how long Powell had been in the hospital prior to his death.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Alma Powell, and their three children.

In his four decades of public life, Powell was the first black man to serve as national security adviser near the end of Ronald Reagan’s presidency and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1989 to 1993.

Who in Colin Powell's circle of family, friends and acquaintances wasn't vaccinated, Whoopi? A little proof of these ridiculous allegations would be nice.

Trump Surgeon General Adams Blames Unvaccinated for Colin Powell Death — ‘Didn’t Take the Proper Measures to Lower Spread’

The absolute closest I have ever been to the man is roughly 20,000 feet, and that only if he was flying overhead. I may not have had the jabs, but there is no way I am involved in his death. Millions more Americans who haven't had the jabs can make the same truthful statement.

The Surging General can take his borderline hate crime statement and stuff it where the proctoscope goes.

I wouldn't doubt that white guys advanced Colin Powell's death. But that wasn't the normal white guy
you or I would come in contact with. No, the white guys I am talking about are the ones banking
obscene government payments for providing the looks like three per year stabs. After all, we have
way too many old people and way too many whites.

I've read Powell's vaccinated wife - with none of the serious underlying issues he had - also experienced a serious case of Covid.

Maybe it's not unvaccinated people but the vaccine itself that caused his death.

Is the "science" able to determine the Covid variant a patient has/had?

That statement by Trump was in very poor taste. Shameful.

First black SOS, but most certainly not the best.

I'd take Condoleezza any day of the week over Powell.

There is not, and there never will be, a vaccine against mortality.
There certainly is not.

And the fact there is no vaccine still fully approved and available is most telling.

People are dying from the vaccine even more than of Covud because it is not a true vaccine to begin with.

Absolutely it is.

Most anyone would believe that to be vaccinated is to take 'proper steps'.

Unless the Surgeon General knows that the vaccine is the culprit instead.  Sometimes projection of the truth is inadvertent by the left.
