Trump on Biden’s Afghan Debacle: ‘We Rebuilt Military,’ and ‘They Gave It to the Taliban’

Former President Donald Trump railed at his successor, Joe Biden, ahead of the 20-year anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks that leveled the twin towers of the World Trade Center and heavily damaged the Pentagon.
In a stark Tuesday evening message regarding American security, the former president said he worked to rebuild the U.S. military during his term but has now seen it humiliated under Biden in Afghanistan.
“That was a day like no other day,” Trump told Tuesday’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight” of 9/11 in an exclusive interview.
“That’s why we have to be careful. That’s why we rebuilt our military. Unfortunately, they gave some of what I had rebuilt – we built it – they gave it to the Taliban. Can you believe that?” Trump added.
Not only did Biden botch the military withdrawal from the country’s longest war by leaving unconditionally, but he has empowered and emboldened America’s enemies in the process.
